Steps to problem
1. I create a new db called db1.mdb.
2. I create a table with primary key in field called ID. The table contents
are:
Fields: ID, Field1, Field2
Data Record 1: 1, 1, One
Data Record 2: 2, 2, Two
Data Record 3: 3, 3, Three
3. I print to network printer. Prints fine.
4. In database window, select Reports. There are no reports.
5. Select Create Report in Design View. Get error message in popup: "There
was a problem retrieving printer information for this object. The object may
have been sent to a printer that is unavailable."
I cannot create a simple report.
I tried setting up a second printer and toggling default printers. I tried
removing all printers. I tried adding just one printer. I tried changing
Windows regional settings and rebooting a few times. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled Access.
I can bring up the table and print it to the printer. What I cannot do is
create a simple report to print to the printer or to preview.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
