Thesaurus and spellcheck in MS office

Hi...

There is one thing that have always annoyed me about MS Office programs ever
since day one of the thesaurus and spellchecker functions, and that is that
if a word is not in your spelling list and it gets this red wavy underline,
you do not get the hyperlink option in the pop up menu when you right click
it.

Now in 2008, almost twenty years since I tried Office for the first time,
it's still not fixed.

I am flabbergasted.
(a new english word I've learned)

Obviously there must have been others complaning about this during these
three decades.....

Is there a reason for Microsoft's stubbornness about this matter?

You have a good point. You'd think that someone at Microsoft would have
thought about fixing that sometime between the 20-ish years they've been
releasing Office.

Apparently not.
