Thesaurus in Word 2007 keeps crashing Word - any ideas?

I have recently installed Office 2007 and everytime I try to use the
Thesaurus in Word it crashes Word. I have run a repair on Word and that
worked to use the Thesaurus once but now it is back to crashing everytime I
try to use it. Likewise help in Word does not work - has anybody had similar
problems and/or have any ideas?
