Thesaurus is not working

Everytime I try to use the thesaurus in word or outlook I get the message
"no thesaurus is available for English (US)". I tried to update Office in
case the setup is incomplete but did not suceed in fixing the problem

What language version is Office? Under Tools->Options->Spelling, what
dictionary do you have installed?
