I'm using Word 2003. Some words in the thesaurus have ridiculous synonyms.
For instance, "information" brings up "in order," "in sequence," "in turn,"
etc., as if it was taking it as "in formation." Or "insight" will bring up
"nearby," "just around the corner," "within reach," etc., as if it's assuming
you meant "in sight." I was using the U.K. thesaurus and I changed to the US
one, but it's still doing it. I keep waiting for someone at Microsoft to
notice this obvious error and correct it but it's still doing it. Does anyone
else find that it's NOT doing this on their thesaurus? And if not, what
settings are you using? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
