Thesaurus window too long

We have a G4 running Jaguar.

There are various windows in Word 2004 that are too long for the screen and
there doesn't seem to be a way around it.

We have a 15 in flat screen and the Thesaurus goes down below the bottom of
the screen. I can't drag it any higher. We barely can see the Synonyms at
all.

Is there a way to handle this?

Did you click on the Encarta title bar to collapse that top section?
That's about all I can see that will reduce the size of window...
