Will there be a the ultimate steal for Office Mac? <br><br>Thanks.
While one never knows for sure, from talking with MS people at the
Microsoft booth at MacWorld, there aren't any plans to do so.
Mac Office no longer comes in a "educational" package. Where one was
supposed to have a student or teacher in the house for Office 2004 S&T
edition, there are no educational restrictions on Office 2008 Home and
Student.
Note that on a per license basis, Office 2008 Home and Student is
actually cheaper than the Ultimate Steal deal.
That said, if you're at a university, you may be able to get a discount
as part of their volume licensing plans, which won't start until at
least February 1st. Check with your school.
