I am using Access 2003.
I created a form for my database to edit/enter new data. Within the form, I
inserted a tab control box with three pages, and within each tab page, there
are various fields and labels.
My problem happens when I open the form in Form View and scroll through the
records. As I scroll, the text in the labels gradually "thickens", to the
point where it appears to be in bold and is difficult to read.
What is strange about this problem is that 1) it only occurs on the second
and third tab pages (not the first), 2) it only happens with True Type fonts
in the label (not with non-True Type fonts such as Courier), and 3) the fonts
return to normal when I switch to another tab page and back, or pass another
open window over the thickened text.
I have tried this with Access 2007, and the same problem occurs, though the
thickening of the text is less severe. I have also ran all available updates
on the Office software.
Please help me figure out why my text is "thickening" and how I can fix it!
