I have used FP since 1998. As an amateur, with just a
little html, I LOVE it. The 2002 editions had some major
changes in it, but after I got into them, it was the best
yet. A truly productive upgrade. Hosting sites have
extensions to FP that let you publish from the desktop.
The html option is there if you prefer to use it, or you
can work in a preview mode that allows you to see what
what your page will look like. You can use templates for
page layout or do your own. There are some other
effective programs, but my trials of them found they
hoped I would know a lot more than I do. Everything
worked, but not as comfortably. They were also much more
expensive.
