third party software accessing outlook

Our developers are trying to use outlook as the mailer for a web app they
have written but when they use outlook to send the email they get that "third
party app is trying to access ....." message. Is there a way to configure
either outlook or someplace to find code that would allow our app to use
outlook to send email without getting this message?

Outlook is not suitable for that usage. Instead, you should be using the mail methods appropriate to your web platform.

Surely there is a way to do this though. I know other applications can do
this so there must be a way.
