Third Party Tool to inventory Custom Fields

I am looking for a tool similiar to the Effective Rights tool to determine
if/where Custom fields are being used in Server 2007. We have a growing list
of fields that I would like to pare down, but need to determine if they are
in use. Anybody know of one of those?
Server 2007, SP2, Dec CU.

You can see the list of fields defined by looking at the server settings.
Since some of those may have default values it is impossible to know by
inspection if they are "in-use" or not.

Best practice is to note the use of the field in the description.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, "in use" is what I am trying to
determine. I was hoping theremight be a way to capture if the field was
being used by an entity or even a "last accessed" date.

You could do something like that with a custom field.....i.e. create a formula
that flags a project or lists if the field is blank or not in a given project.
Then, the next time each of the projects is published, you'll see the results
as a Project Level Summary field. This would of course be dependent on the
projects being published - or if you want to write some script to force publish
your projects.
