"This document contains macros..." message

Can someone help, please.

Originally, I had a Word 97 template that contained
macros. I have now removed the macros, autotext and
customised toolbars, but I still get the 'This document
contains macros...' warning when I open the template.

I have tried removing the macros via the Organizer and via
Tools, Macros, Delete, but even though when the macros are
deleted, I still get the message.

Am I being stupid or does anyone have any ideas about how
I can remove the message?

Hi Simon,

Try the following:

- Open the template
- Press Alt + F11 to open he VBA Editor
- Turn on the Project Explorer if necessary (View/Project Explorer)
- In the Project Explorer locate your template and expand the branch
(click the Plus (+) )
- If you find a Modules folder then expand the Modules branch
- Right-click each module and select "Remove <Module"
