this modification is not allowed because the selection is locked

I cannot open any microsoft programs because they everything is greyed out
and all they all say this modification is not allowed because the selection
is locked, what has happened this isnt a trial version and I think it has
been activated. I have tried going into words options, resource, activation
but nothing happpen. Please help :(

V is Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise
