"This object has been blocked"!

When trying to download or send messages or contact websites I get the
subject message.
How can I 'unblock' the system.
Also,my e-mails are blocked at some receivers. What causes this?
I am using Win XP including Sec Upgrade 2, Office Outlook for e-mails and
as a browser Mozilla Firefox.
