This patch cannot be applied - office 2003 SP1

Hi all,

I tried to apply the SP1 Office 2003 patch to my licensed
standard edition with the 72MB full install patch and it
gives the message - this patch cannot be applied! Tried
the 17MB install but it does not work as well...
uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003 std edition but
it does not work as well!

please advice.

Have you installed Office 2003 from a custom installation CD or a retail
CD? Please add the contents from the file: OHotfix(00001).log from the
OHotfix subfolder of %temp% folder. (In start menu > run> type %temp% to go
to the required folder) in your reply.
