This recordset is not updatable

I build a database some time ago that worked fine for
several years, I've updated it from 2000 to 2002 etc.

Recently I find that I can't update data in queries, a
message saying "This recordset is not updatable" shows up
on the left bottom edge of the screen.

I'm not doing anything fancy, just data-entry queries
comprising 2 tables.

Any ideas on where to look for a solution?

Any developers out there interested in making this
database "robust" and to convert it from single to multi-
use for use over a network please reply and provide a
phone number where I can reach you....
