[1] Was running B2TR Office 2007 and decided to go for the real thing.
[2] Used the Control panel function "Add/Remove Programs" for XP
Professional to remove Office 2007 B2TR. Seemed to work removing it.
[3] Tried installing Office 2007 Small Business Trial and installation
bombed with this error message:
[3a] Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from the
prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first
uninstall any prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office products and
associated technologies.
Correct the issue(s) listed and re-run setup.
[4] Going back to the Control panel function "Add/Remove Programs" for XP
Professional, the program titled "Microsoft Office Information Worker
Feedback Program" was still there. Used the function "Add/Remove Programs"
on that. Seemed to remove it.
[5] Tried installing AGAIN Office 2007 Small Business and installation
bombed AGAIN with the same error message above.
[6] Went back to the function "Add/Remove Programs". Guess what? The
program "Microsoft Office Information Worker Feedback Program" is back again.
[7] Repeated the above steps maybe 10 times, with same [3a] error message
result.
Questions:
[A] What do we have to do to remove "Microsoft Office Information Worker
Feedback Program"???
How the heck do we remove all traces of B2TR Office 2007 so we can go
to the real thing???
We are dying here. Hope someone has an answer???
Warmest regards,
Greg Gates

PS: Did anyone ever consider this scenario?
Just uninstalled Office (does not mater which version). Have a failure like
we just had, AND since new Office will not install, there is NO replacement
OutLook to receive notification e-mails. So how do we know when someone has
posted here with a fix?
We have an AOL e-mail address. Maybe there should be alternate notification
e-mail addresses for a post on a Microsoft forum??? (Maybe right next to the
"Notify me of replies" check box???
Even my Live (used to be Passport) e-mail address is one for Outlook.
