Thousands of extra pages?

Hello,

I am laying out a booklet in Word, using text and high-quality photos.
I am using Word for MacIntosh. Somehow, thousands of extra blank pages
have been inserted in my document, and I can't get them out.

I am running Microsoft X.

Any suggestions?

This is usually a sign that you have a corrupt document or something as
simple as you have used tables for layout and placed some impossible
formatting in such as Keep with Next and Keep Lines together when the
selection is too big for a single page. This causes what is called infinite
pagination.

I'm not familiar with the MAC, but in Winword, you can often get eliminate a
corruption by either opening using Open and Repair option (in the File, Open
dialog, the little arrow attached to the OPEN button) or by using SaveAs and
choosing RTF format, closing the document, reopening and SaveAs a docx
again.
