Thread threatens to run off the right end of my monitors

Is there any way the "Why doesn't my ON synch" thread can be
truncated? It's now up to 254 >>>s (a slight exaggeration), and has
caused me to buy two new monitors to extend the display. Maybe use
ellipses?

To start with, use a newsreader and not a browser to view newsgroups...
You'll find them much more presentable than a generic solution, which
is what the browser has to provide.

Consider Outlook express, Thunderbird, etc.

Most of the people replying to threads use a newsreader, so it doesn't
become cumbersome at all on our ends.
