Threads

I take online classes and unfortunately I am unable to
keep my threads going on all emails. Apparently the
threading in Entourage is based on the subject line. If
the subject line changes, that email is kicked into
another thread. This is a problem when the professor
request that every response have your name on it, thus
changing the subject line.

Does anyone know if this has been addressed or will be
addressed? I know that the latest version of Panthers
mail has threading which will keep all emails together if
they are responses. Unfortunately this email app does not
have news groups which are critical to classes online.

Entourage does not support complex threading of mail messages. If this is a
feature you want, please send your feedback to Microsoft.

Do you have to use one application for both mail and news? There's nothing
wrong with using the best tool for each job.

I tried Thunderbird and it threads perfectly, however it could not seem to handle Phoenix Online's authentification system. It kept asking for my password over and over and finally gave up. If anyone knows what the problem is there I would love to hear about it. adazacom at yaaaaaahoooooo
