My boss is looking to buy a Mac but is unhappy because PowerPoint 2004 does
not show thumbnails of the slides in the outline pane in Normal view. Does
anyone know how to display those thumbnails like Windows versions do?

Have you tried View/Presenter Tools? It's even better.

Hi

Try this:

View>Toolbars>Animation Effects
Click the Animation Preview button

If he likes the button he can put it onto any menu or toolbar using
Tools>Customize Menus and Toolbars.
