Thumbs.db - Do I need it

B

Ben

When I click the "Publish to the web button" I'm saving
it to a folder on my hard drive which i later upload
using WS_FTP. I've noticed that a file called Thumbs.db
gets generated but I'm not sure what it is. If i don't
include the file in the upload everything seems to run
fine without it. It does'nt seem to be serving any
purpose. Do I really need this file.
Thank you

that file is created by Windows in a folder when you view files in that
folder in Thumbnail view. It is a cache file for viewing the Thumbnails. It
can be deleted any time. It has nothing to do with Publisher. You do not
want to include it in a web site.
