I am using the ChartSpace to present the results of some
calculations (OWC9). Depending on the accuracy of the
calculations, values are entered into the chart for every
1 minute of the day or for every 5 minutes. I use the
ticklabelspacing and tickmarkspacing properties of the
time axis to set labels only for every second hour (that
is at 00: 00, 02:00, 04:00 etc. ). If an interval of 5
minutes is used for the calculations the ticklabelspacing
property must be 24, if calculations are done with an
interval of only 1 minute, the ticklabelspacing property
will be 120. But if calculations are done with the 1-
minute-interval (which also means that data points are
entered in the chart for each minute), the ticklabels are
shown vertically. With the 5-minute-interval there is room
for the ticklabels to be shown horizontally – but the
number of ticklabels are the same as the 1-minute-
interval. Obviously I also want the ticklabels to be shown
horizontally when calculating with the 1-minute-interval.
If someone could give me a clue to how to solve this, I
would be grateful.
