Tickler File Features: Available in Any Office Software?

Hi everyone.

I'm curious to know if Office XP Pro or Office 2003 Pro have any tools
for creating tickler files. I need to create tickler files
specifically for following up on contacts.

Does Outlook have tickler file features? What about Info Path and One
Note, which I believe are new features in Office 2003?

If Office does not contain tickler file tools, then does Microsoft
have any software that does offer tickler file database utilities?

Thank you.

Hi, Jack,

I don't believe that Outlook has functionality like this built in, though
you could create it yourself doing some automation (or hiring someone to do
it). InfoPath and OneNote aren't really related to Outlook, so they won't
serve this purpose. You can refer to Microsoft's Web site to get
information on what those applications are.

Outlook does offer recurring appointments, and you can put links to contacts
within those recurring appointments, but that's not likely exactly the
functionality you want.

That said, you might try searching at http://www.slipstick.com for
third-party utilities or add-ins that might provide the functionality you
desire.
