I am setting up a spread sheet to track certain items and
I want to set a follow up reminder in Excel.

I cannot find the function. Please help if you can.

You could do this with Format>Conditional Formatting>Formula
Is>=A1<=TODAY()+10 and format for the change. A1, of course, hold the date.

Another method would be to use a "helper" cell and =IF(TODAY()+10=A1,"Now
Due","Not Yet")

There is no "reminder" function in Excel.

You could use Conditional Formatting to highlight a cell when it reaches a
certain value.
