MS Excel 2010
I have a workbook with two worksheets, Dashboard and Master Schedule.
Dashboard contains high-level project information and will regularly
be re-sorted alphabetically as new projects are added. The Master
Schedule will have the Project name and months in 2012 and 2013 as
headers, then the months will be shaded to visually show the project
duration.
I know with a formula I can automatically update the Master Schedule
based on changes to the Dashboard, but is there a way to "tie" the
additional cells in the project row to the project name? Without this
ability, the project names can beupdated on the Master Schedule
worksheet, but the other cells in that same row will remain static.
KEY INFO
Dashboard (worksheet)
Project Name = C3
Master Schedule (worksheet)
Project Name = A3
Jan '12 = A4
Feb '12 = A5
Mar '12 = A6
etc.
Is this possible?
