TIFF decompressors

can any one help?

I am using Safari, 10.3 with updates, office X with all updates and am
transferring docs to Word on my Windows (NT) machine at work.

Cannot import images contained within word docs, except scanned BMP;
printed message in lieu saying "Quicktime and a TIFF (uncompressed)
decompressor needed to view this picture"

Any ideas?

They left out the Quicktime converter when they shipped some versions of
WinWord--run Office Update at work on the Windows machine and that should
fix it.
