Pub '03
I'm preparing a newpaper ad - they don't take Pub files. I can give them a
TIFF. When I save the pub file as a TIFF, the resolution is poor - and I
need 300 resolution. How can I create this?

Thanks,
Robert

I ran into a similar problem except the magazine publisher wanted CMYK (and
no .pub files). I ended up sending them a .pdf file. Perhaps that's an
option for you as well?

Robert,

If you don’t have a full version of Acrobat (acrobat professional) your best
bet is to supply a CMYK or Greyscale PostScript file, any printer /publisher
who knows what they are doing can deal with that. I don’t expect you will be
happy with the output from a 300 DPI Tiff file (or a TIFF file at any
resolution) as any text will not likely come out decent looking.

thanks Mike..
I do that with my printer publications but somehow this magazine wants TIF.
What you told me though was valualble and I can take it from here.

thanks again, Robert
