tiger probelms saving word and xcell documents to a server

We are having trouble saving word and xcel documents to our sever from
os X tiger. We can only save as an .rtf and .xml, but them we loose
formating and things like charts in xcel! We can save directly to the
individual computer, but not to our server. Any help out there?

Hi ,
It is possible that you have either Norton with autoprotect running or Virex
with active scanning .
