Tight wrap of graphics fails when grouping object

T

Timboo

Hi, Im in the process of writing a user manual, when I insert a graphic
(Screen dump) and set the wrap to tight, its all OK until I then add another
object to the graphic (arrow pointing to a button on the screen dump image)
then group the two objects (so they dont move independently) then the tight
text wrap fails and I get text behind the image, and I cant reset text wrap
as the option is greyed out. In word 2002. Any help?

Incidentially are there advantages to using later vesrsions of Word for
operator manual style documents?

( Im also attempting to use Master and Sub document features).

Thanks in Advance

Hi Tim
when I create user manuals I put the arrows etc into the pictures using a
graphics program, either MSPaint or AdobePhotoshop, and then paste the whole
thing into Word as an inline picture. If necessary I add the explanatory text
using text boxes or a table.

I vaguely remember being told that you cannot use tight wrapping on grouped
objects but I can't find the MSKB article where i read it!
