tiling of gif on top of stationery, makes my emails unreadable?

I create htm stationery with a name/address in the form of a gif on top of
it. When I send emails or even open it in word, the gif tiles, obscuring my
text. I have selected the "do not tile" selection in the stationery wizard.

HELP!!!
