Tiling on Microsoft word Office 2003 edition

R

Rodney Ho

I had been using Microsoft Office 1997 forever. Just
loaded Microsoft Office 2003 and am using Word. I
normally like to have multiple files tiled so I can
access each one quickly. But every time I call up a new
file, a separate file comes up, making switching back and
forth a pain. I can't seem to find a button that enables
me to tile multiple files.

Can anyone help?

Hi Rodney,

Word 2000 and higher use a different interface structure
from earlier versions. You can use the Window=>Arrange All
command to tile the Word windows but you may want to first turn
off the [x] Windows in Taskbar setting in Tools=>Options=>General
to keep from getting a complete set of toolbars repeated in each
tiled window.

With Windows in Taskbar turned on you can switch between Word
documents using Alt+Tab
