Greetings,
When I have Internet Explorer window open and press CTRL+N, a new window is
tiled to the right of the original window.

How can I get it so that the new window is created in the overtop the
original is the exact position? Thank you.

Try posing your question in a group devoted to your version of IE. This
group is for Microsoft Office. However, I can tell you that there is no
solution. IE will open windows in the size and at the location that it
chooses. It doesn't care what you prefer. Actually, that's true of most
Windows programs, including the Microsoft Office suites. Outlook is
especially annoying in this regard.
