Time/date on comments keeps getting reset

I am working in Word 2003 with a document containing comments from many times
and dates. Within the past day or so, I've seen that when I roll over the
comments, they give a time/date within the past few minutes, as though I've
just entered them all. Fortunately, the correct author has been preserved in
each case, but I'd really like the correct date/time there as well. Any
suggestions?
