Here is the process we're using: Users go to Timesheet and enter time
--> Go to My Tasks and Import Timesheet --> PM approves updates. The
problem is we are getting mismatched numbers between what is entered
for hours and what the "Resource Usage" view in Project Pro shows for
what was entered. E.g. In the timesheet I say for Monday that I did
1.5h of work. After this is approved and pushed into the project
schedule, if I go to Resource Usage view, I will see for that task (on
that day), that it shows 1.15hours. Other days where I entered 2h may
show up as 2.08h in Resource Usage view. Occasionally Resource Usage
shows the hours on the wrong dates, but that is more rare.
Why is MS Project doing this? Why won't it just show the numbers as I
entered them?
