I made a spreadsheet so employees can enter time as (8 A)=8:00 AM and so
on through the day. Then I want to add the time up and show the total as
hours. Problem is, I cannot "round" to the nearset quarter. I cannot
round the hours in the individual cells either. See spreadsheet and
calcs.
Date Day Time In Lunch Out Lunch In Time Out Total Time
10/3/2004 Monday 8:00 12:09 13:00 13:00 4.15
10/4/2004 Tuesday 8:00 12:00 13:00 17:00 8.00
Where The time "cells" are formatted as 'time' and the totals cell is
formatted as 'number' with the formula "=SUM((F4-E4)*24,(D4-C4)*24)"
So my issue is rounding each time input to the nearest quarter at entry
or in the total formula. I tried to add a ROUND calc on top of the SUM,
but it will not work. I just can't figure it out??
