time error in Outlook 2003

I have been having a problem getting the correct time on my calendar and
incoming and outgoing messages. It always indicates I am off by an hour. I
know what your thinking its a daylight saving time issue. My thought exactly.
I did a search on solutions and came up with going into tool and options and
set the time for automatic for savings time. When I did this it made the
clock one hour later than it was suppose to be. I of course made sure the
clock was set at the right time on my pc which it was. I downloaded a patch
for solving daylight saving times issues in Outlook. It had no effect. I
cannot think of any other way to reset the clock in Outlook. Any assistance
would be very welcome.

Did you check the Time Zone setting? There are two places, in Windows
and in Outlook.

Thanks for your reply. In windows there is an adjustment in the task bar and
an adjustment in the control panel right? In Outlook I only know about the
option under the Calendar with an adjustment to time zones. Can you tell
where the other option is?

You have both places, 'Control Panel|Date and Time' (or the Taskbar item) is
one place, Outlook's Calendar settings is the other. Be sure that both the
Time Zone and Daylight Savings Time settings are correct in both places.

Again thanks for the assistance. Yes both are set correctly. I thought about
this when the problem occurred several months ago. I thought that somehow
windows might have gotten changed them but it has been consistently correct.
I did download some kind of "saving times patch" for outlook that was
suggested by the MS outlook site but that has had no effect. I am stumped.
Could there be something wrong with the program, some defect ?
