Time Factor when backing up emails to CD

I use a batch file to backup my personal files everyday to CDs. I have the
batch file set to only copy files that have been modified. I copy my email
files through the path: C:/Windows/Application Data/Identities/etc. Everytime
I open OE6, every .dbx file has the modified date changed; therefore, the
batch file always copies every .dbx file even though I haven't modified or
even looked at 95% of the files. This is very time consuming. Is there any
way to reduce the time it takes to backup .dbx files?

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
