Time Format

Help please!!!!

Im stuck with a formula to work out the total hours worked
on a spreadsheet.

My Daily Totals are formatted with the h:mm format but
when i total the months time it formats it to a 24hr clock
so 30hrs will be displayed as 06:00!!!!

Help please i am in danger of my sanity.

This will bring up a total of 1.25 days but what i want is
the total hours i have worked in the month ie 30:00 not
06:00 what it is displayed at the moment.

Use the format [h]:mm instead of h:mm, that way the hours will roll over and
to start again after 24 hours

What do you see in the cell?
