"Time" I created my document changes in Excel

I created a document in Excel. After I saved it and then checked the
info about my file, the "time created" is one hour LATER than the
actual time. The date is correct. The time on my computer (visible in
the upper right corner of my monitor) is accurate. Does anyone know
how I can fix this bug in Excel? Thanks. Jan

AFAIK, the file creation timestamp is a system function for all Mac
OS's and all versions of Mac XL - I don't think XL can set or change
it.

Does this happen only with XL files?
