Time intervals

I would like to change the time intervals in the Appointment template.
Example, if a start time is 8:00, the drop down box next to the start time
gives intervals of 30 minutes. I would like to have them in 15 minute
intervals, since I schedule appointments every 45 minutes automatically
rather than have to enter beginning and end time manually. Please advise.

this is controlled by the time scale used in the day and week views. Note
that the New Calendar button defaults to 30 min and you can't change it.
