Time out with file upload?

I have remote users who are uploading data over a slow links to a project
2003 Sharepoint site. Users complain of a "Timeout" after a period of time.
Is there a way to either extend this or remove any timeout that may be
implemented by default?

Try change the IIS connection timeout by:
1. Open Internet Information Services(IIS) Manager.
2. Expand Servername, Web Sites.
3. Right click sharepoint site and click Properties.
4. On the Web Site tab, change the value of Connection timeout.
5. Click OK.
