Time scale change in registry?

Regarding the time scale in Outlook 2003 calendars: I've read the messages
about making time scale changes from 30 minutes to 15, 10, etc. by going to
"other settings". But is there a way to change the registry so that instead
of defaulting to 30 minutes, the basic default is always 15 minutes? Thanks
very much in advance.

not sure what you want to accomplish, when you change the time scale it
changes the registry but will not affect the time scale when you use the New
button.

Diane,

What's happening is that we have some users looking at calendars stored in
Public Folders. If they close the calendar and reopen it, the 15 minute time
scale goes away and reverts to 30 minutes. Thanks.

Ron and Diane,

I posted a question not having seen Ron's post. I am trying accomplish
something similar by trying to add a new appointment for a 45 minute meeting
or a 1 hour and 15 minute meeting by using only the drop down boxes.

which drop down boxes? outlook doesn't support odd times like that - you can
type 145p as the start time but will need to calculate the end time
yourself - the shortcuts that work for reminders and dates (1h 10m or 1w
1d) won't work for the times. :(
