Time smart tag

Under Office XP, smart tags would recognise dates. I am now using Office 2007
and cannot get it to recognise dates, eg 8 January 2007. It will recognise
names.

Under AutoCorrect, I have switched on 'Label text with smart tags' and 'Show
Smart Tag Actions buttons'. The 'Time' smart tag is checked. Under Show
Document Content I have checked 'Show Smart Tags'.

Can someone help please?
