We have a custom form posted to the Exchange 5.5 public folders.
Users log their requests in this form which are posted to the public foler.
When ever the users append their comments to the form, the timestamp gets
modified to the latest time. This behaviour is normal and correct. Of late
we are seeing that this time stamp is changing even when the post is opened
(not making any appends or modifications). Opening a month old post for
viewing changing the posted on timestamp to the latest time of the machine.
We have observed that this behavior is happening only on Windows XP machine
with Outlookm 2003 installed.
This works normally on Outlook 2000 on windows 2000 machines.
What is causing this to happen with XP+ Outlook 2003?
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
