Dear All
I have a question regarding to the time tracking.
I would like to follow the development of the project, but the MSproject
don´t show me any advance.

I should define a critical path before project can follow my % of advance?.

thanks for all

You can't define the critical path - it's mathematically determined by the
project's task timings and relationships.

You do need to save a baseline before starting to track progress so you'll
have a record of how the original project plan looked.

Where are you entering your progress information? UIpdating the "Start" and
"Duration" fields directly in the Gantt chart entry table is NOT how you
should do it - changing that does not enter actuals, it changes scheduled.
Display the Tracking Table and post in the date the task began in the Actual
Start field, enter the Actual Duration that has been worked in tht field,
and if the task isn't done yet, enter your estimate of the amount of time
still to do in the "Remaining Duration" field.
