I can't figure out how to set a meeting on the west coast while I'm on the
east coast and having the times reflect each properly on the calendar.

If both you and the other person have the WIndows clock and Outlook calendar
times set correctly, it will be handled automatically. Set it for the time
you'd like it to meet in your time zone.

thanks for helping me. So what you're saying is that if I send from eastern
time zone, and their clock is set properly, the time will automatically
adjust to west coast time correct?

Yes. If you make an appointment for 1 pm ET, it will go into their calendar
as 10 am PT. to verify the times, you can show a second time zone in the
outlook calendar and set it for the pacific time zone - tools options,
calendar.
