The problem is that they are not correct. I have no use for appoints
listed
in some obscure time. It is the time of day where I happen to be. In
example, when I am on the east coast, and have an appointment at 10:00am,
I
simply do not care what relation to GMT that is. I am in the EST time
zone,
and my appointment is at 10:00am local time. When I travel to Pacific
time,
my appointments will also be in that local time.
I want my appointments recorded in the time I expect to see on a clock
when
I am in that time zone. Keeping appointments in an absolute time zone is
relatively useless for a frequent traveller. Look at airline
reservations,
they are always listed in the time zone where the airport is, since that
is
practical and easily understandable.
My question is, why does the tool not do what it claims to do?

The old appointment times are correct as is - they represent the time of
the
appointment was held, which was in the old time zone. In a situation
like
this, I would add a category to all the old ones so you know those old
ones
were not updated.

The time zone adjustment tool changed the time for appointments that
were
either in the future, or had reminders still active. The tool ignored
all
past appointments.
I use my calendar to keep track of past items as well as future
entries,
so
the split change did not do me any good.

What do you mean by currently scheduled?

I used the time zone adjustment tool to change the calendar
appointments
when
the time zone was adjusted. However, the tool only changed the
times
for
curerently scheduled appointments, and left everything else alone.
How do I update the remaining calendar entries?
