Time Zones Are Messed Up!

What is wrong with time zones in Outlook 2007. I am using the office live
connector and when I add a recurring appointment on my desktop and open my
calendar on my laptop it shows up on GMT 00:00 time zone, not pacific time
zone.

This happens regardless of whether or not I specify the time zone or not.
This does not happen on all of my recurring appointments either. Some of the
automatically change to the GMT 00:00 and some do not. It is the freakin most
annoying thing when my calendar events say that they start at 1:00 pm on
thursday but show up at 9:00 pm on Wednesday.

What the hell? Btw, the time zones are both the same on my desktop/laptop. I
tried changing the time zones but nothing works... Can I just disable time
zones? I don't need it!

It also happens when I try it on other computers, so it is not my
laptop/desktop. Also, this is a fresh install of 2007 so the config is
basically the default.

what time zone is the online account set for? log into your account at
hotmail.com and check the TZ.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but I have looked everywhere in all of the
options on the web and there is nothing for tz... Can you point me in the
right direction?

I still cannot find any time zone settings anywhere on office live. I would
really appriciate any help with this because I have spent a great deal of
time adding all of my events to my calendar and would really like to start
using it. However, this problem makes it nearly impossible for me to use the
calendar. I paid money to buy Outlook 2007 just for this feature and to not
be able to use it is very disappointing.

It's a passport setting. You need to login to web mail and then options,
more options and then the link for personal settings. The default TZ is GMT.
