Timed mail merge???

I have a situation where i need to inform various people two days before the
expiry of an access card that they have (the expiry date will vary from
person to person). In XL I have a spreadsheet with the email address' that
the emails should be sent to, with a corresponding column that contains the
date that their card expires. Is is possible to set up a timed "mail merge"
that will send out the pre-written email to the correct address two days
before the expiry date,
Thanks for any help that can be given,
Dave

Sounds like something a little code could work out for you. Create a macro
that steps through your data on a daily basis and pulls information (name,
e-mail address, expiration date) from your excel spreadsheet that you can
dump into another spreadsheet you would then use for your mail merge data
source.

Try asking in an Excel group for programming to see if anyone has this type
of code already set up or to see if what you want to do has been done by
others. Most folks who post to news groups are quite willing to help out
folks who ask for it.
